Connections: Dating and Emotions
Grades 6–11; 15 lessons
Dating doesn’t always come naturally. This acclaimed,
research-based curriculum helps younger teens prepare
for the challenges of early relationships, discover healthy
dating practices, and build a solid foundation for the future.
The lessons cover topics that teens of both sexes identify as
important, backed by the latest research on adolescent issues
and behaviors. These include how relationships develop,
effective ways to communicate, recognizing destructive
patterns, managing feelings, and other essential skills,
including concepts from PREP®. Using an overall wellness
approach, the course emphasizes self-awareness, personal
growth, self-regulation of emotions, and interpersonal success.

Money Habitudes
for at-risk youth
What Money Means and Why It Matters
Ages: 16–25; 3 lessons
Money Habitudes quickly introduces vulnerable
youth to the non-technical, human side of money—a
critical element of successful money management. The
three active lessons explore how hidden attitudes affect the
ways people -especially those with few financial resources—
actually behave around money. Money Habitudes is written
specifically for at-risk youth in community programs, including
pregnancy prevention, teen parenting, and workforce
development. The scenarios are realistic, reflecting the
students’ limited resources and lack of financial know-how.
