“X” along the scale. When finished, allow a minute or so for participants to describe
three behaviors important to them personally for a healthy relationship.
In this exercise, you will have the opportunity to use what you’ve learned to assess
a relationship.
Focus on a specific relationship. It can be one you have now or a relationship of someone
you know well— like a friend or even a family member or an adult couple you know.
Read the contrasting sets of questions for each of the three categories. Put an “X”
somewhere along the scale to best represent that relationship.
Finally, at the bottom of pg. 20 in your journal, identify three behaviors that are
important to you for a healthy relationship.
